How it works

From a stranger's message to money in your books

Five steps. The first two take minutes, the third takes one visit to Settings, and the last two are where the work stops being work.

01

Build the form

You start from a working form, not an empty screen.

A new account already has one: name, email, phone, subject, message. Rename the fields, drag them into the order you want, add a dropdown or a date, mark the ones that matter as required, and set your colour. Every edit applies to the live form immediately — there is nothing to re-publish.

What that means in practice

  • Takes about a minute
  • Twelve field types, including hidden values
  • Edit it later without touching your website
02

Share it, or paste one tag

Three ways, and the first needs no website at all.

Copy the hosted link and put it wherever people already find you — a bio, a signature, a WhatsApp message, a QR code. Or paste one script tag into your own page and the form draws in place, in your layout. Or take the raw HTML and let your designer restyle it entirely; it still posts to the same inbox.

What that means in practice

  • Works on every major platform
  • An iframe snippet for platforms that block scripts
  • Free installation help if you want it
<script src="https://mybotplus.com/form.js"
        data-form="YOUR_FORM_KEY" defer></script>

One tag, wherever you want the form. That's the whole install.

No website? Share the link instead — the form is hosted here too.

Connect your email

This is the step other tools quietly do for you, badly.

Notifications and auto-replies go out through your own mail server, so they arrive from your own domain. That is what keeps them out of the spam folder, and it means nobody meters your email or gets your domain blocklisted for what someone else sent. Settings has a dropdown for Gmail, Outlook and Brevo, or any SMTP host you already use.

What that means in practice

  • One dropdown for the common providers
  • A test button that names the exact step that failed
  • Submissions are saved even before this is done
04

The enquiry files itself

Where every other form builder stops.

A submission is stored, emailed to you with Reply-To set to the sender, acknowledged to them if you want, and turned into a CRM contact with the full message attached. Matched on email and phone, so somebody who writes twice is one contact with two notes rather than two rows to merge later.

What that means in practice

  • Hit Reply and it goes to them, not to us
  • Repeat senders never duplicate
  • Read, archive and export from one inbox
05

You quote, invoice and get paid

Enquiries are the means; customers are the point.

The contact is already there, so raising an invoice does not start with retyping a name. Type invoice Acme Ltd in +Bot and the details, history and running balance are waiting. Mark it paid and it appears as income in your tracker, with a real profit figure at month end.

What that means in practice

  • No retyping between form, CRM and invoice
  • GST, VAT or Sales Tax, labelled for your country
  • CSV export your accountant will accept

What the first week looks like

No long onboarding, no implementation project, no kick-off call.

Day 0

Collecting in minutes

Sign up, edit the form you are given, copy the link. You can be collecting enquiries before you have finished your coffee.

Day 1

Email connected

Add your mail server in Settings and every notification and auto-reply starts arriving from your own address.

Day 7

You decide

Trial ends. Keep it or don't — there is no card on file either way, so doing nothing costs nothing.

Questions about the process

Do I need a developer?
No, and you may not need a website either. If you are sharing the link, there is nothing to install at all. If you want the form inside your own site, pasting a script tag is the same job as adding an analytics snippet — most site builders have a field for exactly this. And if you would rather not, our team will do it for you at no cost.
How long before I can collect an enquiry?
About a minute. Your account starts with a working form — name, email, phone, message — and its own share link. You can hand that link out before you have changed a single thing about it.
What is the email step, and can I skip it?
Connecting your own mail server is what lets notifications and auto-replies arrive from your domain rather than ours, which is the difference between the inbox and the spam folder. You can skip it and everything still works — submissions are saved and shown in your account — but nobody gets emailed until it is done.
What happens to an enquiry after it arrives?
It is stored, emailed to you, optionally acknowledged to the sender, and filed as a contact in your CRM with the whole message attached. From there it is one line to raise an invoice, and one more to record the payment as income.
